El frío ya está aquí. Ha llegado, y tenemos que combatirlo de la mejor forma posible. La decoración puede convertirse en una de las armas para hacer que el frío huya (o que, al menos, no nos haga tiritar), para crear espacios que generen calidez.
Además es la estación del año en la que pasamos más tiempo dentro de casa (porque, la verdad, en las calles la temperatura no es demasiado cálida). Por eso es el momento en el que hay que cuidar más los espacios y conseguir hacer de ellos un lugar donde estar a gusto y sentirse bien. Ahora sí que sí, estos son los elementos decor que no pueden faltar cuando llega el frío:
Cold is here. It has arrived and the decoration can become one of the best weapons to make cold run away (or, at least, to not make us shiver) and to create warm spaces.
Winter is also the season of the year in which we spend more time indoors (because, in the streets the temperature is not too warm). That is why it is the moment in which we must take more care of the spaces and get to make them a place to be comfortable and feel good. Now, yes, these are the decor elements that can’t be missed when the cold arrives:
1. Mantas (y muchos cojines) / Blankets (and a lot of cushions)
En invierno, la manta se convierte en nuestra prenda preferida y, muchas veces, incluso nos planteamos salir a la calle envueltos en ella. Por eso es importante que, además de tener las 2 cualidades imprescindibles para las mantas (que abrigue mucho y que sea muy muy suave), tenga una tercera cualidad vital: que su diseño sea ideal.
In winter, blankets become our favorite garment and, sometimes, we even consider going outside wrapped in it. That’s why it’s important that blankets fulfill 3 requirements: keeping us very very warm, being as soft as possible and third vital quality: an ideal design.
2. Velas /Candles
Un elemento que siempre consigue aportar calidez, luz muy delicada y un toque bohemio y calmado. Puedes elegir su color, su forma e incluso el olor.
An element that always brings warmth, delicate light and a bohemian and calmed touch. You can choose its color, its shape and even the smell.
3. El sillón más cómodo (y bonito) del mundo / The most comfortable (and beautiful) armchair in the world
Horas frente a las páginas de ese libro que no puedes dejar de leer, horas frente a la pantalla sin parar de ver películas y comer cosas dulces, horas sentado. Así que hay que buscar el pack imprescindible: comodidad + estética.
Hours and hours in front of the pages of that book you can’t stop reading, too many hours in front of the screen without watching old movies and eating sweets… Thats’s why it’s so important having an armchair with two essential things: comfort + aesthetics.
4. Tazas ideales con bebidas calientes / Cute cups with hot drinks
Chocolate caliente, café para ahuyentar al sueño, té de procedencia oriental o simplemente un vaso de leche. Si hay algo que no puede faltar en invierno son las bebidas calientes. Eso sí, siempre acompañadas de tazas ideales.
Hot chocolate, coffee to feel awake, tea from oriental places or just a cup of milk. If there’s something that can’t be missed in winter that’s a tasty hot drink. But, of course, always served in a cute cup.
5. Estanterías llenas de libros, discos y películas / Shelves full of books, records and movies
Estar en casa en invierno puede ser la ocasión ideal para culturizarse y disfrutar de los momentos más relajados. Pero eso sí, para eso hace falta tener una estantería bien equiparada con libros, discos, películas, series… Las estanterías no son solo un elemento deco, sino que también son el lugar donde guardar tus libros favoritos, los vinilos. Desde estanterías más cálidas de madera, hasta toques más fríos-industriales-vintage con el wire.
Being at home in winter can be the perfect moment to improve your mind and enjoy art and culture. 6. Mucha luz (aunque sea artificial) / Lots of light (even if it’s artificial)
Cuando llega el invierno, la luz se despide poco a poco. Se hace antes de noche y los rayos del sol están menos horas iluminando. Por eso hay que estar bien prevenido y tener lámparas y luces suficientes que llenen de luz nuestros espacios. ¡Sé original con la iluminación!
